I got flabby and toned up with my Gazelle.
Dear Tony:Here’s a success story for ya!I’ll start with my husband. He was running a Johnny Rockets Burger joint for his sister. Of course, eating there too. We all know how healthy that is not! If you’re working 90 hours a week, where can you squeeze in a work out?He was watching TV one day to unwind and your infomercial came on TV. He purchased the Gazelle Plus a few of your videos. To try to balance out how tired and unhealthy he was. He made it a point to stop eating at work and start doing the Gazelle. He did this religiously for awhile. In just under one year he lost 90 pounds! That’s like losing a small woman! Then, he gained a 119 pound one, me!My story isn’t as impressive as his, yours, or that guy on your website who’s recovering from cancer; but, it’s a good one any way! Here’s how you helped save my butt (literally) and my career.Shortly after my husband (now) and I got together we moved to the West Coast of Florida to escape the cold.I started freelance modeling, professionally, but along with the modeling came long hours of sitting at the computer and sitting on a plane, sitting in a car, in a boat; well, you know the rest. This gave me serious computer butt.I didn’t really gain any weight because I was starving myself not to get fat. I did get flabby. Being 32 years old, I would have to do something but fast! Those long sitting sessions also made my feet float as if they were rubber gloves filled with air. This seemed to be a Florida phenomenon. My feet looked like balloons!Part of what keeps me in demand as a model is my extreme flexibility. I needed a low- impact exercise that burned a lot of fat but didn’t pull all of my muscles like running does. Also, it could be done in a relatively short amount of time.At my husbands prodding, I used the Gazelle with the videos. I always felt stupid using videos to work out. He kept saying, “You’ll get more out of it and you’re doing it wrong.” So, I succumbed and, of course, he was right (again)! You have been like a big brother egging me on to “Push it! Squeeze it!” for almost a year now.The Gazelle is ideal for preserving flexibility because the movement is smooth, with an added plus; it enhances flexibility by warming and loosening the muscles and joints. So, you aren’t stretching cold, which can be dangerous.I have been using the Gazelle for 1-2 videos a day, 4-6 days a week. Now, I look and feel better and I don’t have to starve myself. You have helped me get published in Planet, Muscle Magazine (this issue plus last month). Playboy’s Grapevine (December issue), The Contortionist, Playboy.com, Esquire, Mdo Candy Magazine (Current issue), Easy Rider’s Magazine and a bunch of Posters and Calendars. So, just wanted to thank you for helping to save my butt (literally) and my career.Desiree - Cape Coral, FL
